Pastor Ethan Ray is originally from the Red Bay, Alabama and Golden, Mississippi area. Pastor Ethan grew up in Golden, Mississippi but graduated high school in Red Bay, Alabama. He has served in many different leadership/ministry roles, including Associate Pastor at Union Grove Church of God of Prophecy in Mooreville, Mississippi. For a short time, he and Sis. Shelby Ray also served as Outreach and Communication Pastors. Pastor Ethan began his ministry in 2014, when he accepted the call to preach. He then began the process to become a Minister in the Church of God of Prophecy in 2017, when he was licensed as a Lay Minister. In 2019, he was licensed at the Magnolia Region Convention in Mississippi as a Minister in the Church of God of Prophecy. Pastor Ethan also believes in continued education, and as a result of that, he currently holds two degrees past high school. He is a graduate of Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Mississippi and Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi. He holds both an Associate of Arts in Music, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. He also has taken and gone through various ministry trainings through the Church of God of Prophecy. Currently, Pastor Ethan is working on his Master's in Church Leadership at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary.
